Dick Larsen Original Oils Influenced by the Dutch Masters, it was only natural for Dick to choose to paint classic still lifes in oils. He found it a perfect way of expressing his Nordic heritage. A successful painter for the last 25 years, Larsen's work is currently represented by galleries from Georgetown, Washington, D.C. to Palm Beach, Florida. His paintings are also included in corporate and private collections throughout the eastern United States. His formal education includes degrees from the Meinsinger School of Art in Detroit, Michigan, and the prestigious Art Center of Los Angeles, California. Dick has also studied under such famous illustrators and painters as Bernie Fuchs, Mark English, Coby Whitmore, and John Kilmaster.
Dick is the featured artist of the American Kennel Club where his dog postcards and his original dog portraits set the standard for dog lover's across America. He does custom dog portraits from photos for his dog lover Cotton Company customers.
