Get in on the beauty buzz - The Carolina Bee Company

  • February 17th, 2011 8:21 pm ET

The Carolina Bee Company is a local jewel that carries many natural products that we use everyday. The mission of The Carolina Bee Company is:

To build a sustainable family beekeeping business that engages and enhances our marriage in a positive, productive way. We commit to operate in a manner respecting both our customers and the engine of the business, our friends the honey bees.

It is extremely important to try and make people aware that The Carolina Bee Company uses their own beeswax and honey from their own bees. The Carolina Bee Company is in control of every ingredient that goes into the products, and they are the best of the best. They are a completely natural beekeeper operation and  "Certified Naturally Grown".

Starting in 2008, Monica and Todd of The Carolina Bee Company began offering a selection of soap products, lip balms, and body butters. These products are handcrafted not to be confused with the quickly made melt and pour soaps. It does take from two weeks to a month to produce and cure a single bar of soap (we use the old fashioned, cold process method).

Honey and beeswax soaps, lip-balms, and body butters are all natural, handmade, and very unique. These soaps have many lovely scents and it is hard to decide on one, but the Coffee Scrub, Lemongrass, and Rosemary Eucalyptus are out of this world. Your skin and nose will be absolutely delighted. These items have been a success, and have won many awards.  At the 2010 NC State fair The Carolina Bee Company brought home these prizes for natural products….

You can also find The Carolina Bee Company products locally at The Cotton Company located in the charming downtown Wake Forest.
