Our Mission is to offer unique gifts that you just won't find anywhere else.

Many of our itmes are handcrafted and we asseble our gift collections from specially chosen products to create distinctive offers.  We don't shop at merchandise marts - our ideas are our own and we hope our products reflect that.  Included are custom embroidery, vintage linens featuring custom bridal and baby gifts.

Gifts crafted from antique linens are a signature item.  We also offer gift canning, deocrated apparel and linens, and gift collections for babies

The product range available at Gifts From The Hart reflects my own personal interst and experience with decorated apparel and cloth goods.  I entered the apparel decorating industry over 30 years ago and grew a small one-head commercial embroidery shop into a multi-head, professinal business.  I write for several industry trade magazines and have a monthly column in printwear, a journal dedicated to professional decorated apparel artists.  I have written two books on industry topics, the first entitled professioanl Embroidery : Business by Design and the second Professional Embroidery: Stitching by Design. Copies of both books are available through my website, www.HelenHart.com, and at the Barnes and Noble online store.  I am currently working on the third and fourth books in this series.  I have also develped a business form for my industry, which I market at trade shows and on the Internet.  I teach private classes in my studio in Virginia as well as in Michigan and plan to open a retreat/conference center for professional embroiderers and digitizers in North Carolina.  

I frequently speak at national trade shows catering to the decorated apparel and specialty gift market.  When I am not giving my seminars I visit with vendors on the show floor and try to learn as much as i can to keep my business current with the market.  At Gifts From the Hart we cater to our buyers, particularly those in the market for baby gifts.  We offer original creative items - sold individually and as part of gift collections - and we are constantly working to keep our ideas fresh and our products varied.  When you see something you like, don't heistate - next week or next month you may find entirely different offerings! Collectible and exceptional items are often included.
