The powerful beauty of horses was my initial catalyst, setting the course for my lifelong artistic pursuit. For 36 fulfilling years, I honed my eye for color and business acumen as a successful graphic designer and company owner. Yet, the dream of a fine art career never faded. I made the impactful transition, now dedicated to cultivating a distinct style and capturing the world's essence. Today, teaching art is a joy—sharing knowledge and 
encouraging students to embrace their inner artist is the ultimate realization of my own creative destiny.

I’m Amanda Slupe, founder of Rustic Comforts LLC, where I create handmade home décor that blends rustic charm with cozy, boho style. From chunky chenille blankets to macramé plant hangers, wristlets, and wall art, every piece is crafted with care, quality materials, and attention to detail.

The Morose Bee

The Morose Bee is a sustainable haberdashery specializing in organic and secondhand sewing materials as well as handmade and ethically sourced gifts. Originally started in 2009 by Emily Sacharow as a jewelry company, The Morose Bee has grown and changed along with Emily's artistic journey. After falling in love with sewing in 2011 and being unhappy with the options available at most large chain craft stores, Emily decided to make The Morose Bee a home for sewists looking for something more. All items sold must align with a sustainable ethos as to how they are produced or acquired. Categories include, but not limited to, vintage/secondhand, organic, handmade, upcycled, natural fiber, or otherwise carrying some level of certification in its production.

Em's Gems consists of Emily's beautifully designed jewelry and charms including a wide selection of designs, colors and creativity to help make them a hit with all ages and tastes. Emily started making jewelry when in middle school and has been busy ever since, expanding her current necklace and earrings selection to soon to include rings, bracelets and more designs too!  She loves the support from the local community as well as those visiting from out of town and out of state that buy her things! 

Silver Noodle Designs

Silver Noodle Designs is a locally handmade jewelry vendor in the Gallery. The booth features the signature noodle bracelet, which comes in a variety of colors and styles. Whether you prefer Tibetan silver, Indonesian beads, or fully beaded bracelets, Silver Noodle Designs has it! Not only does Silver Noodle Designs carry bracelets, but she also carries earrings made from pottery and necklaces made from various beads. Not into jewelry? That's okay! This booth also carries unique pottery pieces that are the perfect touch to a living space!

The Painted Chicks booth has farm fresh products, garden art, and birdhouses! Come check out their items, including handmade wooden utensils, pillows, accessories, and paintings on the Gallery side of the store!

Noel Butler

My name is Noel Butler and I am an emerging artist in North Carolina. I am a self-taught artist, and I enjoy expressing myself in medium and technique to create mood and texture that elicits emotion. Many of my paintings are done using Acrylic though, because patience is a work in progress. I feel my goal as an artist is to encourage my viewer to slow down. If one person, after seeing my work, is encouraged to stop for just a moment to notice the small things, I think overall I will have succeeded as an artist, and inspired another with the beauty that surrounds us all.

Vintage Jewelry & Beyond

Are you a fan of vintage jewelry? Welcome to my booth, where you can find unique vintage and designer jewelry, accessories, quality home decor, and one-of-a-kind collectibles. My favorite vintage jewelry is from the 1960s to the 1990s. It has more character and individual personality than modern pieces and is ideal for highlighting the individuality of each wearer. The jewelry I present is typically American-made with high-quality materials and craftsmanship and is characteristic of a specific time period. Shop at my booth for fun pieces to collect and wear!

Plant Vibes

Plants, plants and more plants! Plant Vibes carried unique, handmade cement and hypertufa pots, along with kokedama (moss balls), and of course, house plants! You can find this new booth on the Gallery side of the store near the windows. 

Where Art Happens by Les

Local artist, Les Tryon, brings her talent to The Cotton Company through gorgeously painted items such as wine glasses, wooden boxes, cards, and more! Come see her gorgeous artwork displayed on the gallery!

Sandy Cross Soaps

Sandy Cross Soap creates natural soaps and personal care products with all  plant based ingredients. We do not use artificial fragrances or colorants in our products. Only the finest oils and butters that are carefully selected for each item we make. We also chose not to use palm oils in our products instead our product contain coconut, olive, castor, sweet almond oils and Shea butter just to name a few.
The commercial soap products are truly not soap but a detergent that strips your skin of all natural oils produced by your body. 
I love learning about all the natural ingredients that nature has to offer.

Alison Charchar Art brings bold color and quirky subjects to original paintings, prints and cards.  Alison Charchar is a local artist and art therapist that is inspired by moments of connection between people, animals and nature.  Trees around Wake Forest, portraits and abstracted forms from life may be depicted on canvas, wooden plates, hanging glass frames, and other surfaces. Works on commission are welcomed, as well.

Blue Chip Woodturnings

One of the premier craftsmen in the greater Raleigh area, Bill Baxley, founder of Blue Chip Woodturnings, started with just the passion to create. That passion has grown immeasurably, and now his focus combines his love of woodturning with the necessary skill and technique to deliver a beautiful, handcrafted piece to his customer. Bill’s signature item is a small Hummingbird House. Also available are Christmas Ornaments(seasonally), Christmas and Everyday Bells, Wooden spinner tops and wine stoppers. Clina Polloni is a contemporary artist born and raised in Chile. Her colorful oil paintings are inspired by her love for people, animals and nature developing her own unique style between impressionism and realism.

Sparkle and Stitch

Sparkle & Stitch provides quality jewelry for kids and adults, art supplies for imaginative children, and miscellaneous items for gifting and for keeping.  Embroidery creations, new and exciting jewelry and refreshing gift items will be arriving in the Spring.

Godwinks by Mona

In 2015 our two-year-old boxer puppy, Charlie, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.  This was a burden for us financially, as it would be for most.  I prayed, hard, asking God for help.  Two friends that were sea glass collectors sent me a box of glass with a note telling me to do something with it and put the money towards Charlie’s treatment,  and so my Godwinks business started. 
Every picture is one of a kind, as are the natural tumbled pieces of glass.  I love to find pieces and envision what they will become!
